National Sterilization Project 068-048 NPO

Success Story

In January 2009, The National Sterilization Project teamed up with SICIA Christen Fees 2009 to promote awareness on the topic of animal sterilization. To help us achieve our task we were fortunate enough to attract the best expertise. DARG animal welfare in Hout Bay sent Sambuca, a six week old Labrador cross to join us for the two-day festival. His great character and cute looks won the hearts of many there.

For his efforts, Sambuca was rewarded his freedom and has found a new family. The Uys family from Bellville showed particular interest in Sambuca and shortly after the festival, he found his way to a new home and an excited, new family. We would like to thank DARG for their support and the Uys family who opened their home and their hearts to the hero of the day. We are sure that young Sambuca’s life is going to be one filled with love and joy.
