DOGS CAN SNIFF OUT CANCER

believe it!

There must be millions of dogs out there who are loyal to their owners. The love between them, unconditional. Throughout history dogs have been known to achieve heroic feats on behalf of their owners. Combine this with their keen sense of smell and research has found that some dogs have the ability to sniff out cancer.

Be warned though, just because your dog sniffs you doesn’t mean you might be ill with a fatal disease.

In reports from there seemed something persistent about the dog’s sniffing at a particular part of the body. Perhaps it also has something to do with the acute bond between a person and their pet.

A leading Medical Journal in Britain, the BMI, published the results of a meticulously controlled double blind study and found that: “Dogs can be trained to recognize and flag bladder cancer.”

A dog’s nose is its strongest weapon. In fact, it is up to a million times more sensitive than humans. Is it any wonder then that dogs have the ability to use this sense to detect disease?

Dogs are truly man’s best friend, and so much more! We need to care for them, protect them and love them as they always do for us.
